Xemed’s portable gas transport case offers a uniform field region and several options for electrical power.

Xemed offers a wheeled gas transport case for meeting the hyperpolarized gas delivery requirements of physically separated research projects. The instrumentation is assembled into an ABS plastic hard-shell wheeled roller-case with a collapsible handle. The cylindrical magnetic volume is 15” in diameter and 10” high, provided by a solenoidal electromagnet energized at 2.4 amperes to 30 gauss. Fractional field uniformity was determined to be 5×10^-4 by NMR, offering a 30 Hz line width on a 2”×2” cylindrical water sample at 60 kHz. The system may be powered and/or charged by an attached AC cable or by an attached car cigarette lighter/accessory socket cable. Internal battery power provides over two hours detached operation and worry-free transitions between power sources.
